Last Annual Reports

2023

Solidarity between generations and families, providing all children with the start in life that will help them flourish and thrive, in the context of a society in which everyone: the State, but also Companies and Employers, take on this same responsibility as their own is the challenge that persists for the time being and to which the Foundation is resolutely committed. In this way, the vision of our founders lives on!

2022

Despite the disturbances in the global environment, it was possible, in 2022, to increase the level of activity as well as the number of users. Around 86% of the activity in 2022 was dedicated to children and young people up to the age of 18, signalling the Foundation's preferential dedication of promoting health gains through its strategic focus on the first years of life.

2021

In 2021, the Foundation's activity progressed in the various dimensions envisaged in the Strategic Plan 2020-2025, keeping alive as a promoter of a community of demonstration of child health and disease prevention; innovating; sharing and disseminating knowledge and promoting social awareness in Portugal about the importance of the investment in the first years of life.

2020

2020 appears as the preparatory year for a social mobilization strategy that aims to bring together and attract multiple actors - those who, like the Foundation, are aware of the importance of childhood for human development and society - and the rest of society, which, certainly, exposed to scientific evidence and inspiring practices, will be better able to understand this reality.

2019

2019 was de last year of our strategic cycle where the activity grew 52,3% with an excellent user/customer evaluation of our services, who declare that the Foundation is responsible for a more favorable state of health compared to what the general population considers.

2018

2018 was planned with a hopeful vision. Based on a determined course of financial recovery and the recognition of more than 20,000 served children and their families, the Foundation confirms how children´s health is strategic and a priority investment.
FNSBS Strategic Plan 2020-2025

STRATEGIC PLAN 2020-2025

Aware that this goal cannot be achieved by a single route, nor should it be the responsibility of a single institution, for the 2020-2025 period the Foundation has chosen the following routes: collaboration, incorporation of technology and the production and dissemination of knowledge. This strategic path will therefore require investment in technological resources, the building of new partnerships and the development of new critical skills within the organisation, all of which are essential to the success of this venture.
